Zeusgun Blasts Out Their Debut Show
Zeusgun is a new trio featuring Rob Shipp on bass, Gary Ammann on drums and Jarrod “Kid Dynamite” Compton on guitar. They all take a turn at singing the lead vocals and that mixes the sound up pretty well. Having formed this past summer and supporting a blues singer for a few gigs, Zeusgun came together as a punky, blues-fueled garage band. For their debut show they crammed into a corner of the tiny Bikini Lounge for a full evening of rocking. Kid Dynamite positively chokes the frantic but sweet-toned riffs from his big hollow-bodied Gretch while Rob and Gary hold down the punchy rhythm section.
